Flag of the Romani people WRC second variant ca. 1971 (Yugoslavia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

Sky blue sits over green in this flag, with a red wheel of sixteen spokes set at its midpoint, a symbol of the Romani people.

Visual Elements & Composition

Two horizontal bands cover the field, the lighter blue above and the green below, and the red chakra anchors the join between them. Blue and green take up most of the area, so the small red wheel is the one point of heat in the design. The flat vector finish gives the shapes hard, clean edges.

Meaning & Symbolism

The upper blue represents the heavens and the lower green the earth. The sixteen-spoked chakra recalls the travelling life of the Romani people, and it also nods to the flag of India, a link to the community's ancient origins. The red colour honours those lost in the Porajmos, the Romani genocide of the Second World War, and it carries a message of forward movement and endurance. Romani delegates approved the design at the World Romani Congress in 1971.

Made for the Shot Glass

The 1.5oz shot glass is small enough to hold close, so the chakra sits at the centre of the view as the glass is lifted. The two-band layout reads plainly through the clear walls, with the red wheel catching the light.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
