Flag of the Sheikhdom of Kuwait 2-3 (Kuwait) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A solid crimson field carries white Arabic script, the national flag of the Sheikhdom of Kuwait in the years before 1961.

Visual Elements & Composition

Crimson red makes up nearly all of the design, with white as the only other colour. The word for Kuwait is written in bold white Arabic calligraphy across the centre, with a stylised group of white glyphs set to its left. A vertical column of white script runs down the right edge, and a wavy white border marks the hoist side. The look is flat and vector-clean, with the lettering doing all the compositional work.

Meaning & Symbolism

Before 1961, Kuwait used a red flag bearing white script, much like other states along the Persian Gulf of that period. The inscription names the country, and the red field was the common colour of the region's flags in the mid-twentieth century. The flag is a record of sovereignty and of Arab and Islamic identity in the Gulf. It stayed in use until the current national flag was adopted in September 1961.

In the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the lettering reads at arm's length as the glass is lifted. The white script is the one detail that stands out against the red, and at this scale it becomes a clear mark in the glass rather than a passing pattern. It is a design made for a close look, one piece of text on a single bold field.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
