Flag of the Solomon Islands (Solomon Islands) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the national flag of the Solomon Islands, a bold island nation in Oceania, in its full geometric clarity.

Visual Elements & Composition

A thin yellow stripe runs diagonally from the lower hoist corner to the upper fly, cutting the field into two large triangles. The upper triangle is a deep ultramarine blue and the lower one a rich forest green. Five white five-pointed stars sit in the upper hoist, the canton, forming a compact cluster against the blue. Flat vector shapes and a restrained palette keep the composition sharp at small scale.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each colour carries a meaning in the flag's design. The blue stands for the surrounding ocean, the green for the land, and the yellow stripe for sunshine. The five white stars represent peace and the five main island groups of the country. The flag was adopted on 18 November 1977, ahead of independence from the United Kingdom on 7 July 1978, and was chosen through a national design competition.

Shaped for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the diagonal split and the five stars read clearly from the hand and across the bar. The design wraps a tight, straight-sided vessel, giving the flag a compact, portable form suited to a single pour.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
