Flag of the Taborites (Czech Republic) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the banner of the Taborites, the radical wing of the Hussite movement that rose in fifteenth-century Bohemia, rendered as a clean flat vector pennant.

Visual Elements & Composition

White fills roughly three quarters of the field, with red and black making up the rest. The pennant shape carries a few bold, clearly separated motifs rather than dense detail. Pale ground, strong red accent and a dark black outline give the emblem a stark, high-contrast read. The words VERITAS and VINCIT appear as inscriptions across the flag, reading together as a short motto.

Meaning & Symbolism

The chalice and the eucharistic host stand for the Taborite demand for communion in both kinds, bread and wine, offered to the laity. The crown of thorns points to the Passion and to the suffering the movement claimed to share. Together with the motto, which translates as "truth conquers," the banner was a statement of religious conviction as much as a military emblem. It belongs to the Hussite era, when faith, reform and the Bohemian lands were tightly bound together.

Where This Artwork Meets the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the eye reads the flag at arm's length and lingers on the chalice and thorns. The motto sits right where a thumb rests on the rim, and the pennant's clean white field catches the light when the glass is raised. It is a pour-sized piece of Czech history, made to be looked at before it is emptied.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
