Flag of the Tzar of Muscovia (Russia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design renders the Flag of the Tsar of Muscovy, a white, blue and red tricolour charged with a golden double-headed eagle.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three equal horizontal stripes run white over blue over red, giving the flag its clean, banded structure. At the centre, a golden double-headed eagle spreads its wings across the stripes, with crowns over both heads and a shield on its breast. Small gold details, a sceptre and an orb, sit within the eagle's emblem. The bold stripes and the gold figure make the composition simple and striking.

Meaning & Symbolism

The double-headed eagle is the old emblem of Russian imperial power, and the crowns and sceptre mark the authority of the tsar. The flag was first raised on 6 August 1693, when Peter the Great sailed the White Sea aboard the yacht Saint Peter, and it is the oldest surviving Russian flag. The original is kept in the Central Naval Museum in Saint Petersburg. Its white, blue and red stripes went on to form the basis of the modern Russian tricolour.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the golden eagle is seen at eye level as the glass is raised. The stripes run across the curve of the glass, and the eagle at the centre gives the eye a clear point to settle on.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
