This is the official flag of Ome City in Tokyo Prefecture, a single white emblem set on a deep blue field, drawn in clean flat shapes with nothing else competing for attention.

Composition at a Glance

Dark blue fills roughly six-sevenths of the design, with white taking up the remainder in the emblem itself. The emblem sits centred and is built from simple geometry: a circular outline, a five-lobed plum blossom, and a pair of angular wings. Nothing is added for decoration. What the Emblem Means
