Flag of Wallonia the French Community and Walloon Region Belgium - Shot Glass 1.5oz

A red rooster stands tall on a bright golden-yellow field, the emblem of Wallonia and the French Community of Belgium.

Visual Elements & Composition

Golden yellow fills about seven-tenths of the field and crimson red the rest, in a 3:2 rectangle. The rooster is a single flat silhouette, its raised leg and flowing tail feathers drawn in clean, simple lines. The bird dominates the layout completely, leaving the yellow as a warm ground around it. There is no text or numerals.

Meaning & Symbolism

The rooster is the coq hardi, the bold cockerel that stands for boldness, vigilance and the combative spirit at the heart of Walloon identity. The colours trace back to the medieval Principality of Liège. Pierre Paulus designed the emblem, and the Walloon Movement adopted it in 1913. The French Community made it official in 1975 and the Walloon Region followed in 1998.

Shaped for a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the rooster is read at arm's length, almost in the palm. Its outline is simple enough to read through clear glass, and the red and yellow stand out against whatever is poured. Each small measure brings the coq hardi back to the table, a proud bird on a small and thoughtful surface.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
