Grand Coat of Arms of Duchy of Warsaw - Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the grand coat of arms of the Duchy of Warsaw, a full heraldic achievement with a crowned white eagle at its heart on a red shield.

Visual Elements & Composition

The central escutcheon carries a white eagle crowned with a jewelled royal crown, set on red. Around it, a golden rampant lion and a winged angel in a white robe act as supporters, and a shield of black and yellow stripes sits within a green wreath. Order cross pendants hang from the composition, and red mantling with gold tassels drapes behind the arms. Cream dominates the ground, with red, gold, black and green carrying the heraldry. The layout is ornate and symmetrical.

Meaning & Symbolism

The white eagle is the long-standing emblem of Polish identity, and its presence here marks the duchy's claim to that inheritance. The quartered shield draws together the regional lands the duchy recovered, among them Kraków, Pomerania and Mazovia. Napoleon created the duchy after the 1807 Treaty of Tilsit, and the imperial crowns and orders show its alliance with the French Empire. The Congress of Vienna dissolved it in 1815, so the arms record a brief but pivotal moment in Central European history.

On a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the eagle and the crown are the first things to catch the eye, while the supporters and mantling wrap around the curve of the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
