II Field Force Vietnam (US Army) The II Field Force Vietnam was a United States Army field force command established during the Vietnam War. Its primary role was to oversee and coordinate combat operations, advisory missions, and civil-military activities within II Corps in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam. The II Field Force Vietnam was headquartered at Bien Hoa, with subordinate units stationed across various locations within the region. It operated from March 1967 until May 1972. The command was instrumental in coordinating joint and combined operations between U.S. forces and their South Vietnamese counterparts during the Vietnam War.
