Imperial County S34 (California) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A navy pentagon with a golden yellow border, carrying the route number S34 for one of Imperial County's desert county roads.

Form & Lettering

The shield is a rounded five-sided badge in deep navy, outlined by a band of golden yellow that runs just inside its edge. Yellow letters stack down the face: IMPERIAL across the top, the larger S34 in the middle, and COUNTY beneath. The bold blocks of colour keep the design simple and quick to read.

The Road It Names

County Route S34, known locally as Ogilby Road, runs about 25 miles through remote desert from Interstate 8 near the Algodones Dunes north to State Route 78 between Blythe and Brawley. It passes near the old ghost town of Ogilby without entering any major town, so the shield is a marker of open country rather than of a city. The letter S places the route in Southern California's county system, and 34 identifies this particular road.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield is seen up close, at the same range as a roadside sign read from a slow-moving car. The navy field and yellow border show clearly through the clear glass, and the centred S34 is the first thing to catch the eye.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
