K-208 1962 (Kansas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design is a Kansas route marker for K-208, shown as a scalloped golden badge with the route number and the state name in black.

Visual Elements & Composition

Golden yellow fills most of the surface, and black carries the lettering and the edging. A scalloped circular badge sits within a rounded square, and the number 208 is the focal point of the shield. KANSAS runs across the marker in capitals, so the state and the route are both clear. The layout is compact and flat, with clean edges and no extra detail.

Meaning & Symbolism

K-208 was a short state highway in Jefferson County, near Valley Falls, designated in July 1961. It ran about a fifth of a mile between K-4 and K-16 inside the town, and control passed to local authorities in April 1967, when it left the state system. The marker records that brief route as Kansas signed it in the early 1960s, and it is a small reminder of how local roads were numbered across the state.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the badge is read at arm's length, much as a sign is read when a driver slows at a junction. The bold yellow and black stay legible at this size, and the number 208 is the first thing seen when the glass is lifted.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
