K-213 1962 (Kansas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces a Kansas route marker for K-213, a golden scalloped badge with the route number and the state name picked out in black.

Visual Elements & Composition

Golden yellow takes up most of the field, and black forms the lettering and the edges of the shield. A scalloped circular badge sits inside a rounded square, and the numerals 213 hold the centre. KANSAS is set across the top in capitals. The layout is plain and flat, with no shading and no motifs beyond the badge itself, so the route number carries the design.

Meaning & Symbolism

K-213 was a Kansas state route in Riley County that linked K-13 near Garrison with US-77 near Randolph. Its course was realigned to loop around the dam when Tuttle Creek Reservoir was built, and by 1964 the designation had been retired and the road folded into K-177. The marker is a snapshot of a highway that changed with the landscape of the Big Blue River valley, and it no longer appears under its original number on modern maps.

Scale on the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the badge is read at arm's length rather than from a passing car. The yellow and black hold their contrast at this size, and the numerals 213 are the first thing the eye reaches when the glass is raised.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
