K-292 1962 (Kansas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A yellow scalloped state route badge with the number 292 above the word KANSAS, a mid-century marker for a short Leavenworth County road.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow and black share the design almost equally. The scalloped yellow badge holds the route number 292 at its centre, and the word KANSAS sits in a black rounded square beneath it. The number is the dominant element and the state name the secondary line. The flat vector finish has no shading or texture, so the edges are crisp and the marker reads as a clean graphic.

Meaning & Symbolism

K-292 was a state highway spur of about three-quarters of a mile, northeast of Springdale in Leavenworth County. It was created in 1945 to serve the Springdale Covered Bridge over Stranger Creek. After the bridge was destroyed by a lightning-caused fire in 1958, the route lost its purpose and was decommissioned in 1960. The K identifies it as a Kansas state route, and the scalloped badge follows the sign style Kansas used for its state highways in the mid-twentieth century.

Built for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the route number is meant to be read at arm's length, across a table or bar. The compact face keeps the scalloped badge centred and easy to take in at a glance. For a glass that gets passed around a group, a bold, simple sign suits the object, and it turns each round into a small piece of Leavenworth County road history.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
