M-135 rectangle (Michigan) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A historic black-and-white marker for M-135, a Michigan state trunkline that was decommissioned in 1960.

Visual Elements & Composition

White covers most of the field, with black used for the outline and the lettering. The M sits at the top and the route number 135 is centred beneath it. The shield combines a rounded rectangle with a diamond motif, drawn in flat vector with no shading. The letter and numerals dominate, and the restrained layout keeps the sign easy to read at a glance.

Meaning & Symbolism

M-135 was a state trunkline in Michigan's highway system from the early 1930s until 1960, when it was decommissioned on 2 August and handed to local and county control. The road was later carried on the county system as H-33. The M stands for the state of Michigan and marks the route as part of the statewide trunkline numbering. Because the route is no longer an active state trunkline, the sign now records a piece of the state's road history, and its graphic is documented as being in the public domain.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so this marker is read across a table rather than from the road. The black lettering on white shows clearly through the clear glass, and the compact rectangle suits the narrow profile of a 1.5oz vessel. A retired route on a small glass is a fitting way to keep an old number in circulation.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
