MN-127 wide (Minnesota) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A retired Minnesota route marker for Highway 127, rendered in navy, gold and white with the route number at its centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

Deep navy fills the field, and the golden-yellow number 127 is the dominant mark. A white horizontal banner carries the word MINNESOTA along the top, and the wide panel gives the digits generous spacing. A small Minnesota state outline appears within the layout. The artwork is flat vector with clean edges and no texture, so the marker keeps the simple, high-contrast look of the original roadside sign.

Meaning & Symbolism

Highway 127 was a short trunk route of about 2.5 miles in Douglas County, linking Interstate 94 at Orange Township with Highway 27 in Osakis. It was set up in 1967 alongside the completion of the interstate and stayed in service for more than four decades before the Minnesota Department of Transportation decommissioned it between 2012 and 2013. The sign now stands as a record of a road that no longer appears on the state network. For Douglas County travellers of that era, it marked a familiar connector.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is held close and seen from above, so the marker is read in a single glance, the way a sign is taken in from a passing car. The large 127 sits at the centre of the view, and the navy and gold stand out against the clear glass. The glass is compact enough that the whole design fits within a single line of sight.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
