Nassau County 24 NY (New York) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bold flat-vector take on a Nassau County route marker, with a navy pentagon and the number 24 set in the middle of its header-and-numeral layout.

Graphic Structure & Palette

Navy blue fills most of the pentagon, with warm orange carrying the accents and the lettering. NASSAU sits across the top edge as a header, and the large numeral 24 takes the centre of the sign. The shapes are simple and solid, with no gradients or texture, which keeps the marker crisp at small sizes. The number is the element the eye settles on, and the header frames it.

The Route System Behind It

Numbered county routes like this one organised the roads of New York counties for mapping and maintenance. The pentagon was the state's standard county shape, and the contrasting colour scheme made these markers easy to tell apart from state and federal highways. Nassau County stopped posting its route signs in the mid-1970s, so the markers now live mainly in county records and local history collections. The artwork revives that retired wayfinding language in a contemporary style.

Designed for the Glass Rim

On a 1.5oz shot glass the pentagon is viewed up close, from the top as the glass is filled and from the side as it is raised. The large 24 holds its legibility on the narrow surface, and the bold colour blocks read clearly under bar lighting. It turns an everyday shot glass into a small piece of regional road history for a home bar or a travel shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
