Nevada 38A (Nevada) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

Nevada 38A is a black-and-white highway shield that recalls a route number once posted on eastern Nevada roads.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black takes the larger share of the surface, with white used for the lettering and the sign's edges. A square badge carries the design, and the Nevada state outline sits inside it as a solid silhouette. The route number 38A and the word NEVADA are the only text, set in bold, flat type. There is no shading or texture, so the badge reads as a clean, graphic emblem.

Meaning & Symbolism

The shield was the route marker of its day, the sign that confirmed to a driver which road they were on. The 38A designation belongs to the years before Nevada's 1976 renumbering, when a short branch road ran through the east of the state. That route was later folded into State Route 38 and then into State Route 318, so the number itself has passed out of use. The design preserves it as a small piece of the state's road history.

Made for a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield is taken in at a glance and the 38A reads clearly as the glass is turned. The strong black areas stay sharp at that distance. It makes a fitting toast to a piece of highway history, and a keepsake for anyone who enjoys the old maps and signs of the open road.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
