Nevada 53 (Nevada) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

Nevada 53 is a high-contrast road marker in black and white, with the number 53 and the state outline set inside a rounded square.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black holds the larger share of the surface, and white fills the numeral, the lettering and the margins. A square with rounded corners forms the marker, and the Nevada outline sits within it as a solid shape. The number 53 is the strongest element, with the word NEVADA set below in plain capitals. The construction is flat and graphic, with no shading, so the sign stays clear at any size.

Meaning & Symbolism

A numbered shield is the sign that tells a driver which road they are on. Route 53 ran through the south of the state, from the Jean area toward Goodsprings, and it was removed from the state system during the 1976 renumbering. Part of the route was later given a new number, so the old designation now belongs to the history of Nevada's roads. The design is modern in its construction and archival in its subject, marking a route that is no longer on the map.

In the Hand

A shot glass is small and turned in the hand, so the marker is taken in as it moves, with the numeral catching the eye first. The sharp black shapes stay defined at that close range. It works as a toast to a road that has passed into memory, and as a keepsake for anyone who likes the old routes of the desert.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
