Nevada 55 (Nevada) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bold, flat-graphic take on a Nevada highway marker, built around a single route number and the state's silhouette.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black dominates the design, filling roughly three-fifths of the field, with white forming the rest. A rounded-corner square frames the composition, and a white route shield carrying the numeral 55 sits at its centre. The word NEVADA appears as visible text, and the outline of the state sits beside the shield as a clean silhouette. Nothing is shaded or textured, so the shapes read instantly from across a table.

Meaning & Symbolism

Nevada State Route 55 was a highway designation established in 1935. It ran south from U.S. Route 93 in Caliente toward Kershaw-Ryan State Park, and it held that number until Nevada's 1976 highway renumbering replaced it with State Route 317 for the connecting segment. The shield therefore points to an earlier era of state road mapping, when a route number was the main way drivers found their way across the Nevada desert. Modern Nevada roadside markers use the same logic, pairing a route number with a mile marker.

Sign Language on a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker gets read at arm's length rather than from a passing car. The black field and white numerals stay legible at that range, and the rounded square keeps the shield shape recognisable even on a compact glass. Pour a round and the route sign becomes a conversation piece for the bar, the road trip, or the cabin shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
