New Mexico 106 1932 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design recreates a vintage New Mexico State Road 106 marker in the style of 1932, with its yellow field, red sun and black lettering.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow fills most of the sign, with black and red carrying the detail. A circular badge sits at the centre, built from concentric rings, and the red Zia sun symbol takes its place inside it. The words STATE and ROAD run around the marker, with the route number 106 and the abbreviation N. M. below. The flat vector finish keeps the lettering bold and the rings clean.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia sun is the emblem that links this marker to New Mexico's Pueblo heritage, and it appears here in its red form. Route 106 is a short state road in Santa Fe County, linking U.S. Routes 84 and 285 and NM 399 in the south to NM 76 in the north. The 1932 styling belongs to an earlier era of New Mexico road signs, before the later white-background versions with a larger Zia symbol.

Where the Glass Meets the Sign

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker reads like a keepsake at arm's length. The rings of the circular badge sit near the centre of the glass, and the yellow field catches the light as the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
