New Mexico 11 1926 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design renders a 1926-dated New Mexico Route 11 marker in yellow, red and black, with the Zia sun in a circular badge.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow makes up most of the sign and sets the palette. The Zia sun sits inside a circular badge in red, and its rays radiate evenly around the centre. STATE and ROAD run across the sign in black capitals, and the numeral 11 forms the route designation. Muted accents are kept to a minimum, so the eye moves straight from the badge to the number. The flat vector shapes are plain and tidy.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia sun belongs to the Zia Pueblo and is also featured on the New Mexico state flag. Its four groups of rays stand for the four directions, the seasons, the times of day and the stages of life. Red and yellow together recall the flag, tying the road marker to the state's regional identity. The 1926 date places the sign at the start of the national numbered highway network, when travellers across the Southwest were first learning to read route markers on the road.

Held Up to the Light

A shot glass is small and held close, so the circular badge fills the view as the glass comes up to the eye. The yellow ground and red sun are easy to pick out at that range, and the numeral 11 reads cleanly from the first glance. It is a bright, compact marker for a small glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
