New Mexico 127 1932 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This shot glass recreates a vintage-style New Mexico State Road 127 marker, with the Zia sun symbol set on a bright yellow field.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow dominates the design, with white, black and red handling the lettering and emblem. STATE and ROAD frame the route number 127, and the initials N. and M. identify the state. At the centre, a circle within a circle carries the Zia sun in a flat-vector finish. The arrangement is bold and symmetrical, built for quick reading at highway speed.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia sun comes from the Zia Pueblo, where it stands for the sun, the cardinal directions, the seasons and the sacred balance of life. New Mexico adopted it as the emblem on its state flag, in red on yellow, so the marker echoes the state's own colours. The styling follows the highway signs of the 1920s and 1930s, when the state was giving its routes a distinct identity. State Road 127 itself is a short route of about 3.5 miles in Colfax County, running from Idlewild to U.S. Route 64 in Eagle Nest.

In the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker is read at arm's length, and the Zia sun sits at eye level as the glass is raised. The circle-within-circle emblem suits the compact surface of the glass, and the bold numerals stay easy to pick out. It is a considered keepsake for a home bar, a desk, or a shelf of Southwestern travel pieces.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
