New Mexico 137 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This shot glass reproduces the New Mexico State Highway 137 route marker, a white circular shield with a red Zia and the number 137 in black.

Visual Elements & Composition

White fills most of the sign, which makes the red Zia and black numerals stand out. The number 137 is set centrally, with the Zia forming a ring around it. Circle and rounded-square shapes give the layout a firm, symmetrical structure. The flat vector style keeps the edges sharp, so the route number reads clearly even at the small size of a shot glass.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia is a four-pointed sun from the Zia Pueblo, and it has appeared on the New Mexico state flag since 1925. Its four groups of rays stand for the four directions, the seasons and the stages of life. On a route marker it identifies a state highway. NM 137 runs about 55 miles from the Texas state line, where it becomes Dog Canyon Road into Guadalupe Mountains National Park, to U.S. Route 285 northwest of Carlsbad.

On the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker is seen at arm's length as the glass is raised. The strong red and black on white stay legible across the curve of the glass, and the Zia remains recognisable. It is a compact keepsake for anyone who has driven toward the national park.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
