New Mexico 14 1952 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design recreates a mid-century New Mexico State Route 14 marker, with a red Zia sun inside a double-ringed white badge and the number 14 in black.

Visual Elements & Composition

White fills most of the field, with black figures and a red accent. The numeral 14 dominates the centre, and STATE and ROAD frame it above and below. The circular badge is drawn with a double ring, and the red Zia sun sits within it. The flat vector shapes are plain and balanced, so the circle and the route number read as one unit.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia sun symbol comes from the Zia Pueblo, where its four points stand for the cardinal directions, the seasons and the stages of life. It is New Mexico's state emblem and appears on the state flag. Route 14 runs roughly 54 miles from Tijeras to Santa Fe, and today much of it forms the Turquoise Trail Scenic Byway. The circular marker with its Zia emblem set the route apart from the federal shields of the same era.

In the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the circular badge and bold numeral sit right at eye level as the glass is lifted.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
