New Mexico 204 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This shot glass reproduces the NM 204 state road shield, a route in Colfax County that runs into the Philmont Scout Ranch.

Visual Elements & Composition

A white circle frames the black route number 204 at the centre of a square field. A red Zia sun wraps the outer edge of the circle, its rays arranged in four groups around the ring. The palette is three colours only, white, black and red, and every shape is a clean flat vector with no shading. The number is large and high in contrast, so it reads at a glance even on a small glass.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia sun is the emblem of New Mexico, and its four groups of rays stand for the four directions, the four seasons, the four parts of the day and the four stages of life, joined in a ring that stands for life without beginning or end. The road itself is a gravel route of roughly 10.9 miles that starts at U.S. Route 64 north of Cimarron and ends at a gate on the southern edge of the Philmont Scout Ranch's Ponil Campsite. It was never paved, and it is best known as the road that carries scouts to and from the North Country.

Made for the Pour

A shot glass is small, held close and lifted to the eye, so the number and the sun are seen at arm's length. The white circle sits neatly on the curve of the glass and turns in the hand as the glass moves. Each round brings the 204 and its Zia sun back to the table, a reminder of a quiet mountain road.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
