New Mexico 24 1932 (New Mexico) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A yellow highway marker in the style of New Mexico's early route signs, carrying the route number 24 and the Zia sun.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow covers about four-fifths of the design, with black and red as the accent colours. The layout is a centred circle: STATE and ROAD run as small labels, the Zia sun sits in the middle, and the number 24 is set large so it reads first. The N. and M. abbreviations mark the state. Everything is flat and symmetrical, with no decorative detail beyond the lettering and the sun.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Zia sun comes from the Zia Pueblo and has been the state's emblem for generations, with its four groups of rays standing for the four directions, the four seasons, the four periods of the day and the four ages of life. The 1932 date points to the years when New Mexico was building out its numbered highway network, and the design treats the route marker as a piece of regional history.

Under the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the circle is seen from above and at close range as the glass is lifted. The strong yellow field and the large central numeral carry the design at that distance, and the sun comes into view as the glass moves closer.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
