Old Texas 44 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A ringed star badge in black and white, with the numeral 44 and the word TEXAS arranged as a historic state route marker.

Layout & Visible Elements

The design is flat vector artwork in two colours, with white covering about seven parts in ten of the surface. Black forms the circular ring and the five-pointed star at its centre, and the numeral 44 sits in the badge alongside the word TEXAS. The composition is symmetrical and uncluttered, so the badge and its numbers read as one unit rather than separate pieces of text.

A Route That Came First

The name refers to Old Texas State Highway 44, one of the original state routes established in 1917. It was planned to link Wichita Falls with Fort Worth, passing through Jacksboro, Mineral Wells and Weatherford. Within a decade the designation had been dropped or absorbed into other highways, which is why the route survives mainly as a piece of Texas road history. The star badge and the 44 pay tribute to the early years of the state's highway network, when numbered routes were first being marked across the state.

Carried to the Bar

A shot glass is small and raised to eye level, so the badge is seen up close and the numeral becomes the first thing read. The clear glass lets the black and white emblem show through the drink, and the design is easy to pick out whenever the glass is lifted.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
