Old Texas 46 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A black ring holds a five-pointed star on a white field, with the numeral 46 and the word TEXAS completing a compact route emblem.

Composition & Graphic Detail

This is flat vector artwork in strict black and white, with white covering about seven tenths of the surface. The circular badge is the dominant form, a heavy black ring enclosing the star at its centre. The lettering is limited to the numeral 46 and the word TEXAS, placed so the badge and its figures read as one emblem. There is no shading, which keeps the shapes sharp and sign-like.

A Highway from the 1920s

The number refers to Texas State Highway 46, first established in 1923. It ran through South-Central Texas, linking New Braunfels, Seguin and Gonzales, and was realigned and shortened by the 1940s, with parts later absorbed into U.S. 90 Alternate. The star badge and the route number recall the era when Texas was first marking its state roads with its own signage, a stage that came before the uniform standards of the later highway system. The design preserves that early look.

Close to the Glass

A shot glass is small and raised to eye level, so the badge is taken in at close range, with the star and ring read before the numeral. The clear glass keeps the black and white emblem visible through the drink, and the design holds its outline each time the glass is lifted.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
