Rhode Island 101 (Rhode Island) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A black-on-white Rhode Island state route marker for Route 101, with "R.I." above the number in a bordered rectangle.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is a flat vector sign in two colours, with white making up most of the surface. "R.I." sits across the top in black and the number "101" fills the centre in heavier black type. A thin bordered frame with slightly rounded corners holds the lettering, and nothing else intrudes. The layout is centred and orderly, so the three figures read in sequence and the frame reads as a single unit.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route 101 runs about 9.7 miles from the Connecticut border east to U.S. Route 6 in Scituate. Locally it is known as Hartford Pike, a name that traces back to a nineteenth-century toll road called the Connecticut and Rhode Island Turnpike. The road passes near Jerimoth Hill, the highest point in Rhode Island. The marker carries that history in a few characters: the state abbreviation, the route number, and a line of travel that once ran between two states.

Carried Close in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the whole marker is taken in at a glance, with its border and every character in view. The stark black-and-white look suits a glass with a nostalgic streak, and it will mean the most to anyone who has driven Hartford Pike or knows the western hills of Rhode Island.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
