Secondary Tennessee 153 (Tennessee) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat, high-contrast road sign that puts the number 153 on a shield and reads as Tennessee at a glance.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is built from two colours only, solid black and white. Black fills most of the field, with a white inverted shield and rounded rectangle standing out sharply against it. The numerals 1, 5 and 3 sit centred inside the shield, large and evenly spaced, so the number is the first thing the eye lands on. Nothing competes with it. The flat vector style keeps every edge crisp, and the layout is symmetrical from top to bottom.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route shields are the language of American highways. Each one tells a driver which road they are on, and the numbered shield form is recognised across the country. Here the sign points to Tennessee, a state whose roads have carried travellers, musicians and local families for generations. The number 153 is the identifier that makes this a specific route rather than a generic marker, which gives the design its quiet regional identity.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the artwork has to work at arm's length and in a single glance. The bold black field and the large white numerals do exactly that. Turned in the hand or set on a bar top, the shield comes into view as a clear, compact emblem of Tennessee pride.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
