The Soyuz TMA-14 was a spacecraft mission launched as part of the Soyuz program, a human spaceflight program run by Roscosmos (the Russian federal space agency). This specific flight, designated TMA-14, marked the 32nd visit to the International Space Station (ISS) by a Soyuz spacecraft. The mission took place on June 20, 2009, with a crew consisting of three astronauts: Commander Gennady Padalka (Roscosmos), Flight Engineer Michael Barratt (NASA), and Research Cosmonaut Joe Acaba (NASA). During their 168-day stay on the ISS, they conducted various scientific research experiments in multiple fields such as biology, physics, and Earth sciences.
