A pentagonal route badge with a double outline carries the letters SP and the number 22 in this flat vector road-sign design.
Visual Elements & Composition
White is the field colour, with black forming the pentagon and its inner border, and a trace of light grey adds a faint edge tone. The characters SP and 22 sit within the shape, arranged one above the other. The badge is centred and stands alone, so the number is the first thing the eye picks out.
Meaning & Symbolism
SP is the state code for São Paulo, and 22 is the route designation the badge records on the state highway system. Pentagonal shields with a double border are a common form in Brazilian road signage, so the design reflects a working piece of wayfinding rather than a decorative motif with a hidden meaning.
Where the Eye Lands
A mug is turned in the hand and read from different sides, so a self-contained badge suits it well. The double border keeps the pentagon legible as the curve of the cup moves across the view, and the simple black and white contrast makes the shape easy to read at a glance.
