Texas 245 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat, monochrome route marker that puts the number 245 and the word TEXAS inside a rounded, bordered square.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black covers most of the panel, with a white border setting it off. The numerals 245 sit large at the centre, and TEXAS appears above them as the state name. There is no illustration or second colour, so the layout is built entirely from the shape of the shield and the weight of the figures. It is the plain, legible format Texas route markers use so that a number can be read in passing.

Meaning & Symbolism

The number 245 belongs to a short rural route in the Texas Panhandle, Farm to Market Road 245, which runs through Potter and Carson counties between State Highway 136 and FM 683. Farm to Market roads were laid out to connect farms and small communities with market towns and larger highways. An earlier State Highway 245 once used the same number in the late 1930s, before it was removed from the map. The sign therefore carries both a working rural road and a piece of Texas highway history, recorded in the state's shifting route numbering.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker is seen at close range, with the bold 245 at the centre of the glass as it is raised. The square shield and high contrast suit a compact, straight-sided vessel, and the design gives a Texas-minded host a clean, graphic talking point for the next round.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
