Texas 247 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A straightforward route marker in black and white, with the number 247 set inside a rounded, bordered square beneath the word TEXAS.

Visual Elements & Composition

A black field with rounded corners sits inside a white border. The numerals 247 take up most of the panel, with TEXAS set above them. Nothing else is drawn. The contrast and the chunky figures do all the work, which is how Texas route shields are designed to be picked out quickly by a driver.

Meaning & Symbolism

The number 247 names more than one Texas route. It is used for a short state highway spur in Pyote, in Ward County, which connects Spur 57 with State Highway 115, and for Farm to Market Road 247, which runs through Madison and Walker counties between State Highway 21 and State Highway 30. Both sit within the state highway network maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation. The sign therefore stands for the state's road system as a whole: short connectors and rural lanes that keep smaller places linked to the wider grid.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker is seen up close, with the bold 247 at the centre of the glass as it is raised. The square silhouette and firm contrast suit a compact, straight-sided vessel, and the design gives a Texas-minded host a plain, striking talking point for a round of drinks.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
