Texas 37-C (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A monochrome road marker reading TEXAS above a bold black 37-C, set on a white square with a thin black border.

Visual Elements & Composition

Stark black on white, with white covering most of the face. The thin black border holds the square together, and the rounded corners soften the outline slightly. TEXAS sits small and centred above the route designation, while the large 37-C fills the lower field, so the eye moves from state to route in one pass. There is no imagery beyond the lettering, and the flat vector finish keeps every stroke crisp.

Meaning & Symbolism

Texas State Highway 37 was one of the original state routes marked in 1917, running through the northeast of the state. The letter suffix “-C” was how the Highway Department marked a short spur, alternate or lateral connected to a parent route. Those suffixes were largely temporary and were retired in the 1940s, when Farm-to-Market roads and other designations replaced them. The sign honours a short-lived piece of road infrastructure, one that existed for a time and then was renumbered out of the record.

In the Hand

A shot glass is small and comes close to the face, lifted and set down in one motion, so this marker is read at arm’s length. The square frame fits the straight sides of the glass, and the 37-C stays legible even as the glass is turned. Roadside signs of this kind were made for quick reading, and the glass keeps that quality at the bar.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
