Texas FM 31 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A reproduction of the Texas Farm to Market 31 shield, showing the route number inside the state outline on a black square.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is made from two flat colours. A black square frames a white silhouette of the State of Texas, with the number 31 placed prominently inside the outline. FARM ROAD is printed above and below the state shape in plain capitals. Nothing else appears on the artwork, so the shield's bold geometry and the route number carry the whole composition.

Meaning & Symbolism

Farm to Market roads were created in Texas during the 1940s to connect farms, ranches and resource-producing land with towns and larger roads. FM 31 covers roughly 46 miles of East Texas, running north from U.S. Highway 79 at Carthage through Harrison and Panola Counties to the Louisiana line. The state outline marks the route as part of the Texas network, and the shield stands for the secondary roads that carried local life and commerce across the region.

On a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield is read at arm's length rather than from a moving car. The high-contrast numeral and the simple outline stay legible at that size. Each time the glass is raised, the 31 and the Texas silhouette come into view, a quiet reminder of the East Texas roads that link one county to the next.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
