Texas FM 80 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A black square marker holding a white Texas outline, with FARM ROAD and a bold route number 80 set inside the state.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black forms the outer frame and white fills the state silhouette, so the contrast does most of the work. The words FARM ROAD sit in small lettering within the outline, and the numerals 80 are set larger and bolder beneath them to command the eye. The flat vector treatment is clean and direct, the way a highway marker is meant to be read from the road.

Meaning & Symbolism

Farm to Market Road 80 was established in the 1940s as part of the original Farm to Market programme. It runs about 37 miles from State Highway 14 in Mexia to US 84 in Teague, passing through Freestone and Limestone Counties. Its purpose was to carry cotton, cattle and timber from the farms and ranches of East-Central Texas to the railroad hubs of Mexia and Teague. Early markers were made of painted steel or porcelain enamel before modern reflective aluminum replaced them, and this design recalls that older roadside look.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the marker is a detail to find at the table. The 1.5oz clear glass sets the black frame and white numerals against the bar top, and the square layout suits the compact body of the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
