Texas Loop 137 (Texas) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design is a retired Texas route marker, Loop 137, shown as a rounded black-bordered badge with LOOP above the number 137.

Visual Elements & Composition

The sign is drawn in white and black only. The word LOOP sits across the top and the number 137 fills the centre, both inside a square with rounded corners and a heavy black border. The lettering is bold and evenly spaced, so the route number carries the composition. Flat vector shapes keep the edges sharp and the marker easy to read.

Meaning & Symbolism

Loop 137 was a Texas state designation that is no longer in use. The record describes two separate routes under this number: one connecting routes in Houston from 1942 until 1980, and a much shorter loop off State Highway 78 in Blue Ridge from 1983 to 1990. Both are now part of the state's history rather than its current map. The marker stands for that changing network, the way Texas roads were numbered, renumbered and retired as cities and highways grew.

Carried by the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the sign is read up close, at the bar and in the hand. The bold LOOP label and the centred 137 stay clear at that scale, and the rounded corners of the badge match the smooth curve of the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
