United States Merchant Marine Academy - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is a federal service academy located in Kings Point, New York. Established in 1943, it serves to educate future Merchant Marine officers for the U.S. Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration and the U.S. Navy. The curriculum combines academic, military, physical, and professional training, with a focus on engineering, navigation, business, and other maritime-related subjects. Graduates are commissioned as ensigns in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and may also serve aboard government-operated vessels or in private industry.
