US 666 Arizona 1956 South (Arizona) (Road Sign) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A green U.S. highway shield with ARIZONA and the route number 666 in white, drawn as a simple flat vector in the spirit of a mid-century road marker.

Visual Elements & Composition

Green covers most of the design, around seven parts in ten, with white for the lettering and the shield outline. The U.S. highway shield is the single central figure, set upright in the middle of the layout. The numerals 666 sit large inside the shield, and the state name runs across the top. Nothing is shaded or textured, so the composition relies on its outline and two colours, the way a roadside sign would be read at speed.

Meaning & Symbolism

U.S. 666 was a spur of U.S. Route 66 that crossed Arizona from Sanders toward the Mexican border at Douglas. The route number came from the federal numbering system rather than from any hidden meaning, and locals gave the road the nickname the Devil's Highway. It was renumbered U.S. 191 in 1992 and later U.S. 491 in 2003. The South label in the title marks the southern run of the route, and this shield recalls a stretch of desert highway that many travellers drove in the 1950s.

Where the Shield Sits on the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield is read at arm's length as the glass is lifted and tipped back. The clean outline and the strong green hold their shape at this size, so the marker carries its message even on a glass you can hold in one hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
