USA - New England (1955) - Color Morphing Mug Design

This is a map of New England as it was drawn in 1955, with the six states of the region laid out across the full curve of the cup.

Visual Elements & Composition

The map fills the mug as one continuous scene, so the coastline runs around the body rather than stopping at a frame. The northern states, Maine and New Hampshire, sit toward the top of the wrap, while Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut gather along the lower edge where the shoreline bends.
