The USCGC Kimball WMSL 756 is a high-endurance cutter ship operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Its designation, WMSL, stands for "National Security Cutter - Large." This class of ships serves as primary multi-mission patrol ships for the USCG. The Kimball was commissioned in 2011 and is one of nine Legend-class cutters, which are designed to replace the aging Hamilton-class high-endurance cutters. These ships are equipped with advanced command, control, communication, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems (C4ISR). The Kimball's primary roles include law enforcement, search and rescue, maritime security, national defense, homeland security, and marine environmental protection operations. It is armed with a 57mm gun mount, two 25mm gun mounts, and can carry several small boats for various missions. The ship also has a helicopter flight deck capable of operating both MH-65 Dolphin and MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters. The Kimball's hull is designed to be highly efficient, reducing fuel consumption, while its large size allows it to carry a larger crew and more equipment for extended missions. The ship also includes state-of-the-art engineering systems that enable it to operate in harsh environments, making it an essential asset for the USCG in fulfilling its mission of protecting the United States' maritime interests.

Frosted pint glass (16 oz / ≈0.47 L) with a soft matte finish and semi-translucent, one-sided print. Tough enough for bar and restaurant use, dishwasher safe, and BPA-free — a modern take on classic pintware.

These pints are mouth-blown-style glass finished with a satin frost that mutes glare and gives art a soft, tactile presence. The print sits atop the frosted surface to create a semi-see-through effect — the look subtly shifts depending on lighting and what's poured inside.

Because the print is slightly translucent, pale drinks let more light through and darker pours create stronger contrast. That interplay gives each serving a small visual surprise — useful in hospitality settings or retail displays where the drink and the glass play off each other.

  • Material: 100% glass with a matte, frosted finish for a low-reflective, premium feel.
  • Capacity: 16 oz (standard U.S. pint, ≈0.47 L).
  • Print: one-sided wraparound, semi-translucent finish that changes with light and liquid.
  • Care: dishwasher-safe for everyday service (see Care tab for tips).
  • Use cases: retail shelves, bar service, event glassware, or merch racks — suitable for single units or larger orders.

These glasses work well for chilled beers, craft pours, iced cocktails and cold brew — anywhere you want an elegant, understated presentation. The frosted surface hides minor fingerprints and softens the silhouette of the drink inside.

  1. Serve: fill with cold beverages; the semi-translucent print will interact with the drink color for subtle variation.
  2. Display: stack or line them on back bar shelving where soft lighting emphasizes the frosted texture.
  3. Stocking: sell individually or as a set; their neutral look fits many menu styles and venue aesthetics.

Tip: if you plan themed pours (pale ales, lagers, dark stouts), test a sample to see how each drink’s hue changes the printed artwork’s visibility.

Dishwasher-safe for routine cleaning — use a standard household cycle and avoid very high-heat commercial programs when possible. Placing glasses mouth-down on the rack reduces risk of chipping during wash cycles.

For best longevity, hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent and dry immediately with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive scouring pads and harsh chemical cleaners that can dull the frosted finish or wear printed areas over time.
