Williams County Route C OH (Ohio) (Road Sign) White Coffee Mug

A green county road sign reading WILLIAMS COUNTY above the route letter C, set in white on a rounded rectangle.

Visual Elements & Composition

Deep green fills almost the entire design, with only a thin band of white for the lettering and the route marker. The rounded rectangle is the main shape, and the words WILLIAMS COUNTY sit across the top while the letter C is placed beneath them. The composition is centred and uncomplicated, with the high-contrast type doing all the work.

Meaning & Symbolism

A county route marker tells a traveller which county they are in and which lettered road they are following. Williams County lies in the northwest of Ohio, and its route signs are part of the network of local roads that connect farms and small towns across the Midwest. The design celebrates that local navigation, the everyday signage that orients people in the countryside.

On the Mug

A mug is turned in the hand, so the sign passes around the curve of the cup as it is rotated. The green block reads as a solid band and the white lettering stays legible from the front. It suits anyone who knows the roads of Williams County, and the cup gives the sign a close, personal place on the desk or the kitchen counter.
